Favorites | July 2013

I wanted to share with you my favorite products for the month of July. I took these products with me on my 3 week Europe vacation on a cruise and land where its been through long hours in the hot weather and many hours of wear. Some products have been used more than others.

Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer for the Face
Even though I was out a lot in the hot sun, I'm natural fair so I needed to add some color to my face. After a few days of use, I could tell that my face was getting a nice natural glow. I would only use the product every few days. Applying the moisturizer after showering and let it fully absorb was perfect for me. This is def one of my daily favorites.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator
Since the weather was super hot and humid, I didn't want to wear a lot of makeup. Most of the time I  just curl my lashes and say its a go for the day. Only curling my lashes meant they should be healthy and long. So to achieve that I gave the Rimmel Lash Accelerator a try and man, it worked! My lashes are a lot fuller and longer than they were before.

Rimmel Soft Kohl Eyeliner
Another Rimmel product made it to my favorites list. This eyeliner goes on very smoothly and is super black, which is amazing. I love to use this liner to tight line my upper lid and the give my eyes a slight wing when I going for a natural look.

Nars Albatross
I normally don't use a highlighter but Albatross was made as an exception. I used this a lot when the cruise had their formal dinner nights and just for a regular dinner. Loved how it gave my face a nice natural highlight.

Revlon Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Sweetheart
I LOVE THIS! I used it almost everyday!! It gives a beautiful pink lip stain. You do have to put a few coats on to have it stain you lips but other than that its my favorite lip product of this month

The Body Shop Body Butter in Mango
Iv tried many of the body butter and I have say mango is my favorite. I use the body butter daily. Before putting on my makeup and after a shower. It helps moisturize and hydrate my skin. LOVE IT!

Missha Natural Butter Hand and Nail Balm
Iv always been a fan of the Missha M BB Cream. So after a while I decided to give some other Missha products a try. One of those products was the hand and nail balm which is amazing. It def moisturizes your hands. I like to use this after doing my nails, rubbing it in to the cuticle.

Butter London Cuticle Oil
Out of all the cuticle oils I have tried, Butter London has been my favorite so far. It has a light smell thats not to strong and it nourishes the cuticles really well.

Have you tried any of these products before?

Pro Palette Large/Single | Pro Palette Eye Shadow Insert

A few days ago I was browsing through my email and found that MAC was offering a free 2-day shipping. So of course I had to order. I normally go for more of the matte shadows and neutrals with shimmer. While looking through the paint pot colors, I fell in love with Vintage Selection which is a peachy frosty color. Now I have to depot my eyeshadows into my new palette!

The Body Shop | Tea Tree Collection

Anyone recently run out of their favorite acne/blemish helper? I recently ran out of my all time favorite acne helper which was the 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment by Neutogena. Apparently Neutogena decided to discontinue this product so I was forced to find a replacement. That's when I found out about the Body Shops Tea Tree collection. I heard that tea tree oils can helps reduce redness and blemishes. I occasionally get blemishes here an there but nothing major but I like to keep my skin clear. So I had to go out and get them to test. So far so good. I like how it give a minty feeling on your face. The tea tree collection can be a great transition or replacement from an old product.

Tea Tree Oil - $9.99
Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash - $11.50
Tea Tree Gel- $9.99

What do you use as a acne/blemish helper?
